WICHITA, Kansas – Historic Dunbar Community Center is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Union Pacific Foundation’s Community Ties Giving program.

The Union Pacific Foundation’s Community Ties Giving program aims to provide funding for local projects and initiatives that contribute to the betterment of communities. The grant award will be specifically used for purchasing and installing a screen and projector for the Historic Dunbar Community Center. This will contribute to the ongoing renovation phases aimed at creating a more inclusive and modern community space that will provide a wide range of recreational and educational opportunities for residents.
