Tallgrass Film Festival Partners with Dunbar

The Tallgrass Film Festival and Power CDC are pleased to announce a partnership, made possible in part by a $10,000 grant from the Wichita Community Foundation’s Evergy Community Investment Fund. This is in addition to the $48,422 the Dunbar renovation effort received directly in the same round of endowments.

Once the Dunbar is once again open to public occupation, the good folks at Tallgrass will work together with the Dunbar staff to prevent an ongoing series of film presentations, including movies about the theatre itself and the historic McAdams neighborhood around it, as well as films directed by and starring actors from marginalized communities.
