Grumpy Old Men Donate $25,000

Wichita philanthropy group Grumpy Old Men are donating $25,000 toward the ongoing renovation effort at the Historic Dunbar Theatre. This generous gift was generated in part by a concert at Newman University on November 20, featuring Count Basie Orchestra singer Carmen Bradford, backed by a 17-piece big band.

2021 has been an amazing year for the Dunbar project, with numerous sizable donations from organizations and companies both near and far. Keep your eye on us in 2022 and you will see the biggest leaps in progress since renovation work began!
